Jerry O’Reilly Dec 7th

Jerry is well known in singing circles as organiser of An Goilín singers club and, more-so, as the Fear a' Ti of all the major singer festivals in Ireland for the past few decades. His strident delivery of refrains for workers rights and ballads of history are nicely countered by those jolly inner city Dublin songs of  wild mirth and skullduggery. His CD features his unique rendition of “Bold Robert Emmet”, the bush-ranger anthem; "Jim Jones", "The Navvy Tribute" and the very raw historic "The Wheels of Fortune." Jerry O'Rielly teaches Irish Set Dancing at the Willie Clancy Summer School. See him on the first Frday next in the Corner Bar, singers and listeners welcome, free admission……..
